This painting is a colourful celebration of tropics and botanics and is inspired by landscapes, plants and animals in New Zealand, Uganda and Ghana.
Can you spot the Gorillas, Elephant, Toucan, Bear and Tiger?
In terms of process, each element is first individually illustrated. Then I use the computer to combine each element into a landscape that balances the different colours, shapes and forms.
Once the illustration is set, I then use this as a map for the painting. I've painted this piece with premium acrylics on canvas (dimensions 24 x 30 inches).
The painting will look fabulous in a living room as a statement piece and equally would work well in a children's bedroom or nursery.

I personally pack all my paintings using acid-free tissue papers, reused bubble-wrapped and sturdy, recycled cardboards.
