This painting is a colourful celebration of tropics and botanics and is inspired by landscapes, plants and animals in New Zealand, Uganda and Ghana.
Each element is first individually illustrated. Then I use the computer to combine each element into a landscape that balances the different colours, shapes and forms.
Once the illustration is set, I then use this as a map for the painting. I've painted this piece with premium acrylics on canvas (dimensions 24 x 30 inches).
The painting will look fabulous in a living room as a statement piece and equally would work well in a children's bedroom or nursery.

I personally pack all my paintings using acid-free tissue papers, reused bubble-wrapped and sturdy, recycled cardboards.
